Learning to fly.

This baby mocking bird crashed into one of our windows. Nick rescued the bird from the ground and held it until it realized it was being held by a human and then went on another flying lesson!

Pre- Op CAT SCAN

Today we went to Rady's Children's Hospital for Logan to have a 3D CAT Scan of his feet.
The plan was to anesthitize him because that is standard procedure for children under the age of 5 recieving a CAT Scan. So we followed all the proper procedures, no food from mid night on and no liquids after 9:30 in the morning. Ya, that was fun! Anyways we met with anesthesia and they asked if we would like to try it first without - of course we would! Logan was a champ - he stayed perfectly still through the whole procedure! We then walked out of the hospital just minutes after the scan, no 2-4 hour recovery room, no nausea, no sleepy boy! The fish even had a nice time!
