Winter Garden pics 2012

(pic 1) the first Brocolli shoots, I love growing broc because when you cut off a shoot 2 or 3 smaller ones grow in its place. (pic 2) carrot thinnings, these went to school with Logan for his class to try. (pic 3) our first time growing cabbage, not really sure when to pick it, probably soon, garlic in the back ground.

(pic 1) purple cauliflower, no this was not Logan's class project, it really grew this way! (pic 2) snap pea bloom (pic 3) a very confused peach tree, it started setting blooms with the few days of warm weather

Nick and I made gift baskets with homemade canned goods this year.

Christmas Morning

This was actually the day after Christmas at 7:30 am. Logan got a bunch of survival gear from his aunt Emily and get himself up and dressed and let me know that he would be back by dinner (the vest is full of pockets that hold valuable survival gear).
This was Christmas morning. (pic 2) I guess Santa has a sense of humor! Logan has been bugging us for a sweet potato for a while now (before that it was a coconut). Santa put a sweet potato in Logan's stocking. Logan was AMAZED!
