Whenever the 49ers play the Chargers in preseason football we always try to make an appearance (49er faithful - obviously). We went with Luke Bartlett (Harley's brother), Emily, Ian, Nick, myself and Logan.

49ers vs Chargers preseason game
Whenever the 49ers play the Chargers in preseason football we always try to make an appearance (49er faithful - obviously). We went with Luke Bartlett (Harley's brother), Emily, Ian, Nick, myself and Logan.
The Dog Days of Summer . . .
A view of one of my gardens. In this garden there are strawberries, bell peppers, tomatillos, yellow squash, dill and A LOT of tomatoes!
These
have been our favorite tomatoes, they are bigger than your hand and have the warmest flavor EVER! This tomato is so big the plant has only managed to put off 3 of them (tomatoes) this season. We don't know the name of these because all of our tomato plants came from the compost.
This is our 1st year growing tomatillos. Tomatillos grow inside of these little lantern things. They taste like tangy tomatoes and are very hardy!
At the begining of August Logan and I went out on a rainy day and burried a few pieces of a pumpkin that had matured too early. Here is what we have now, hopefully we will get some pumpkins in time for halloween :)
